Prior to accepting any new project, we conduct a visit to the site to meet the client and to familiarize ourselves with the land.  At this time we sit down and discuss the project with the cemetery committee/board to gather as much information as possible.  Always remember that this is your cemetery and that our role as planners is to take your vision and translate that vision into a workable set of plans.

Also during our site visit, we make every attempt to meet with local Planning Commissions, Health Departments, or other agencies that must approve any plans prior to construction.  It is our attempt to insure that there are no surprises to be encountered further along in the development process.  We inquire of local flood management officials to ascertain the status of your site.  Is there a blue-line or intermittent stream coursing through the site?  If so, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers must be contacted and give their approval prior to implementing any plans.

There is a fee associated with travel to-and-from your site.  That fee is dependent upon the distance from our office and the extent of our research.
